MEETING NOTICES

The Board of Directors of the ND Humanities Council (hereafter referred to as “governing body”) will be holding a regular meeting in Bismarck on Thursday and Friday, June 23 - 24, 2011, starting at 2:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at Doublewood Inn, 1400 Interchange Ave, Bismarck, ND.  (Due to flooding and road closures the meeting has been relocated from Watford City.)

At the time this notice is being prepared, the governing body expects the agenda of its meeting to include the following topics: 

1. Financial Report
2. Executive Director Report (Self-Assessment Process, Media Arts project proposal)
3. Program Officer’s Report
4. Executive Committee Report
5. Discussion of By Law Revisions
6. Grants Committee Report (IPPL Review)
7. Report from Membership & Nominating Committee
8. Election of new board members
9. Election of Executive Committee

Where noted, the discussion of some of the above topics may be held in executive session rather than during the portion of the meeting that is open to the public.  If this is a regular meeting, additional topics may be discussed.  If this is a special or emergency meeting, the governing body’s discussion will be limited to the topics and executive sessions listed above.

The Board of Directors of the ND Humanities Council (hereafter referred to as “governing body”) will be holding a special meeting via email on Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 2 p.m.   The meeting will be held in the conference room at ND Humanities Council, 418 E. Broadway, Suite 8, Bismarck, ND, 58501.  In the event that any or all of the members of the governing body participate in the meeting by telephone, video, or email, a speakerphone or monitor will be available at the location noted above.

1. Nominations for the NDHC Board of Directors
